Ariana Grande’s New Single Isn’t a “Problem”

For the past week, “Arianators” who are formally known as Ariana Grande fans, have been counting down for their idol’s newest single release.

Ariana Grande’s new single was set to be released on April 28, 2014. Not only were her fans counting down, but Grande herself was counting down as well. It seems as if just about everyone was overcome with excitement to hear some new music from the teen celebrity.

The single is titled “Problem,” featuring music artists Iggy Azalea and Big Sean. It was approximately 11:30 pm on April 27 when Grande decided to finally release the new single.

Prior to its release, fans could pre-order the single on iTunes. In fact, an estimated three hours before the single was even released, it had already hit #4 on the iTunes “Top Single Chart”.

As of right now, it holds the #1 spot on the “Top Singles Chart” in both the U.S. as well as 40 other countries around the world. This song reached #1 on the charts in under 37 minutes, breaking the previously set records by Lady Gaga and Taylor Swift.
