On Tuesday March 10th, Aberdeen High School had a Cultural Festival. There was tons of extravagant cuisines, and many people enjoyed seeing the costumes and the posters of information all over.
The festival featured many different places like Vietnam, France, Italy, China, Israel, Guam, Pakistan, Korea, Canada and many more! It was very colorful, exciting, and educational. There were a lot of interesting facts, and multiple foreign instruments were being played.
The Blue and Gold went around Aberdeen High and interviewed some students involved with the festival.
When asked what impact the festival has on the school, Senior Class President Chrissandra Jackson said, “It got a lot of people interested to learn about different countries.”
“A lot of people liked the food, and I feel like the students were coming together, having fun, and being educated all together at once,” said Alexis Walker, senior at Aberdeen High School.
“We are very diverse as a school. This festival displayed the many different cultures represented among our students,” said Sehlah Butt, senior at Aberdeen High School.
