The latest of the marvel movies, Age of Ultron, was big in theaters. It was written and directed by Joss Whedon with inspiration from Stan Lee and Jack Kirby’s comics.

New on the Marvel scene is a set of twins. Pietro Maximoff (aka Quicksilver), played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and Wanda Maximoff (aka Scarlet Witch), played by Elizabeth Olsen, have a close bond and make an interesting dynamic to be played out.

The Avengers were created to protect the Earth, and Tony Stark, played by Robert Downey Jr., is trying to create the next step for protection. Unfortunately a glitch in the program starts Ultron down a path to protect the world in questionable ways.

Age of Ultron was shot around the world and the choice pays off. The scenes created are something that could never have been artificially manufactured, and still have given the same feeling that was retrieved.

It was interesting to see Quicksilver appear in a Marvel Studios movie when he was recently in a 20th Century Fox movie, X-men, with his and his sister’s father Magneto. While Magneto is owned by 20th Century Fox only, his children are owned by both studios and it is interesting to see the different takes on the same characters on screen (as well as the merchandising fight off).

Though some fans find this crossover exciting, Justin Strittmatter says, “It’s weird, but I don’t care.”

Some people just don’t get excited over movies.

Full of action and deep characters, Marvel has created a movie that really is intriguing. They have taken loved characters and added to their character in a way that you really do want to know more about what is going on in their lives. Perfect for more movies and television show.

“I love Marvel movies and how they all seem to flow together,” explains Susan Brickey.

Marvel has set their selves up for success in future movies, now they just can’t let down fans counting on a truly spectacular climax in this series of movies.
