Here at AHS, we have many inspiring figures on our staff as well as our students. Our staff want to see nothing but progression from their students.

Assistant principal Mr. Johnson says he would like to make the ineligibility list smaller and allow more students to go to the college of their choice. He also wants to promote in school as well as the community how much Aberdeen has to offer.

Mr. Burrell, who works in the AHS special education department as well as football coach, says he would like to “help students pass their classes” and “learn about the building and the people he works with” since this is his first year teaching at AHS. He would also like to help keep all athletes eligible while winning a state championship.

I also interviewed Tavon Roberts, varsity cheerleader and student here at AHS. She informed be that she would like to “obtain a higher GPA” and succeed past counties in cheerleading. She also would like to stay out of trouble and away from drama.

No matter what your goals are, perseverance and inspiration will help you achieve this year.
