Last week, the JV football game was moved to Monday, September 28 because of outside issues. When they finally got to play, the Eagles had a rough game and were taken down by the Edgewood Rams.

The score of the game was 12-0 at the half, but the Eagles could not rally together in the second half to beat their rivals.

About the game, Coach Matlack says, “I think we played great defensively but they were on the field too much.”

As Coach Matlack said, offensively, the Eagles could not get anything going. The Rams defense shut down most passing plays and stunted the Eagles efforts to score.

Varsity running back Isaiah Everett said, “I didn’t see a lot emotion and [the JV team seems to] lack communication, but they definitely should have beat that team.”

Today at 4:00 P.M., the Eagles JV team takes on the Havre de Grace Warriors for their homecoming in their stadium. As a whole, the team is looking forward to the game and want to come home with the win.
