Most everyone struggles with getting up early in the morning, although there are ways to make getting up early easier.

Setting a decent time to go to bed is place to start. Getting the right amount of sleep should be an important part of your daily activities. Go to bed 1-2 hours earlier than you normally do, if you can manage that.

Some people say that drinking a glass of warm milk also helps.

Put your alarm clock across the room so you’re forced to get up to shut it off. If you put your alarm right next to your bed you will be tempted to hit the snooze button. It is also a good idea to set your ringtone to something that annoys you, because you set your ringer to something you like you won’t want to get up.

If you drink coffee, get your coffee maker on a timer so that when you get up you don’t have to wait to have your coffee. If you have to wait for coffee then you will have a hard time staying awake.

You could also take a warm shower or splash some water on your face to increase your circulation. Get up and move–if you sit still you won’t wake up and you will be half asleep when you leave for work, or school, or wherever your day takes you.
