The first week after graduation there is a little celebration known as senior week. When teens get a little freedom, sometimes they don’t know how to act.
So, here are a few tips for seniors:
After paying your down payment for your place, your pockets are going to feel a little empty. But you still need food, so you should shop for boxes of cereal, fruits, chips or cookies, and breakfast sandwiches for the week.
Even though you are on your own at Senior Week, that doesn’t mean that your parents have forgotten about you. Keep your parents updated with constant texts or phone calls.
Be careful with what’s in your cup. Besides being illegal, being caught drinking could affect your record, and affect you in the future when you’re applying for a job.
Stay away from social media. Whatever is posted on social media never goes away. Your parents can find out things that you didn’t want them to know, and future employers could use it as a background check.
Try to stay close to the people that you came with. Avoid sleepovers or big “get-togethers,” because in such a small area, you could still get lost.
