On September 18, our Eagles soar to Frederick, MD to go to war with Governor Thomas Johnson High School’s Patriots.

After week one’s 28-16 loss to the Perry Hall Gators, the Eagles traveled into Perryville for a week two battle with the Panthers and came away with a 27-7 victory. “A win’s a win,” said right guard C.J. Allen.

“I feel like we didn’t play up to our expectations and we didn’t have enough heart,” said left guard Perry Stokes, of the Perryville game. “I think people need to step up this week and just play football and we will walk away with the win.”

This week, as they prepare to travel to Frederick for a battle with the Patriots, the Eagles don’t know what to expect because they have never seen this team before. But, as always, we should be ready.

“I think we should’ve done better last week,” said running back Isaiah Everett, “I think we’ll be ready this week.”

“Do not go into anything with expectation,” fan Jeremy Valerio said. “You’ll only come out of it with disappointment.”

The Eagles hope they can come out of this week’s game with a big victory– one they can be proud of.
