Save the date! “12 Angry Jurors” will be put on by Aberdeen Marquee Drama Club this November 13 and 14.

12 people, one room, deciding the fate of a young man on trial for murder. What originally seems like a clear case soon becomes murky and, while it should not be personal, becomes exactly that. Personalities seep out and arguments grow heated.

You might recognize the title from students over the years who have taken Mr. Freda’s AP Psychology course and came out with a love for the movie.

This performance will have Mr. Real as the director with Ms. Coverstone as the technical director.

“I am excited to work with Mr. Real, as it creates new challenges for me as an actress,” explains Melissa Seek who will be performing in this production.

Auditions are over and the cast is set. Rehearsals have started and the ball is rolling.

You can get tickets by stopping by the Black Box in the morning, asking someone involved, or buying them at the door.

If you are interested in helping out, the Drama Club is always looking for more techies. Lexi Eure says, “I can’t wait to tech because I’ve never teched before, and I think it will be really fun and broaden my horizons.”

Actors, actresses, and techies are working to give an amazing performance, so come on out and show your support.
