Looking for a place to get a bundle of candy fast this Halloween? There will be a Trunk-or-Treat event, hosted by Epic Community Church, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Ripken Stadium on October 31.
Epic Community Church works out of Ripken Stadium, and has once again gotten permission to use the parking lot to host this event. There have been bigger and bigger crowds every time they have hosted this event, so get there early!
Although the event is geared toward children, if you are a teenager, don’t worry too much about your age. Melissa Seek tells us, “There aren’t really age restrictions, I mean, you don’t see 30-year-old men walking around, but no one is going to judge you if you are 17.”
Decorations at these events are truly amazing. “Trunk after trunk” is a new theme that has gone all out for this night.
Mikenna Miller informs us that she “thinks it’s smart, but it loses the thrill.”
While this might seem like one “con” of the event, the “pros” are numerous: increased safety, and as Joseph Gomez explains, “you get a lot of candy at the end.”
There will also be various games available to play, including inflatables.
If you need a way to entertain siblings, score lots of candy, or just show off your costume, check it out!
