The Aberdeen Lady Eagles are off to a great start this year on a three-game win streak.

The team has been taken over by new head coach Ms. McCarthy. The past three games have been tough games, and the Lady Eagles ended up on top.

The Lady Eagles started off their season with a play day at Havre De Grace, winning two of the three games. After winning the games, player Julianna Coster says, “I think we look really good and I’m excited for this season.”

The team has started off at 3-0 and the girls won their season opener against Glen Burnie 13-12. The Eagles continued their win streak with a hard-fought win against Joppatowne, 13-7, on Tuesday.

The coaches and players are excited for the start of the season and head coach, Ms. McCarthy, says, “We have a lot of good newcomers to Aberdeen that have made a strong team this season; the way they are working with the returnees have made for a very competitive team. We think our toughest game will be against Edgewood on the April 11.”
