If you’re preparing to go to college, you should take this opportunity to meet with a college representative!
On January 10th, at 8:45, representatives from Harford Community College will be visiting AHS. They will be sharing information about their college with students of all grade levels. They will express some of the benefits of attending HCC and will provide students with the necessary information to consider doing so.
After their January visit, the representatives from HCC will return in May in order to register students as well as have them sign up for classes. Another event nearing closer and closer in time is the admission of the ASVAB test at AHS.
The ASVAB test, (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery), is a test given by the United States Military Entrance Processing Command. The test is used to determine qualification for enlistment in the United States Armed Forces.
See Naviance for more info on the ASVAB test, and keep in mind, taking and passing the test does not mean you are required to join the Armed Forces.
