On Thursday, April 23, 2015, I went to go see the play “James and the Giant Peach” produced by the Aberdeen High School’s drama team. It was really great overall, and I enjoyed the show.

They had the play showing for three days, and basically every day, the auditorium was full. Parents really enjoyed the show, and it was a cool switch-up compared to the original movie. The director of the play was Ms. Coverstone, and the Technical Director was Mr. Real.

Mr. Real said, “I believe it went very well. The audience seemed to love the sharks. The students worked hard on the production and it definitely showed. Everyone who left the show seemed to be very pleased with what they saw so, it went very well.”

“Justin Strittmatter is amazing, and everyone should get his autograph now while they can, because he will be famous” said Zach Brand, senior at Aberdeen High.

“I went to go see Fame, and I loved it, so I was definitely excited for James and the Giant Peach since I saw the movie when I was younger, and I loved that too” said Alyssa Plitt, freshman at Aberdeen High.
